Radical Forgiveness

When I discussed the 5 Sutras of the Golden Era, I touched on the importance of Self-Love. To love ourselves completely is to honor where we've been in order to appreciate what's ahead. We're not perfect. We make mistakes. Those mistakes offer us the wisdom + compassion needed during these times. Through forgiveness, we remember that everyone is doing their best, based on their awareness. Sometimes, we get so caught up, we become unaware of how we are affecting ourselves and others. It isn't until we begin to wake up and take responsibility for our actions that we begin to really heal.

Forgiveness offers you the chance to choose again. Maya Angelou said it best, "When you know better, you do better." This is our change to make the best better. The best is yet to come. Stop beating yourself and others up for their mistakes from the past. The past is over, darling. The more you dwell on what was, the more you poison your future with the pain and suffering endured during those times. It's important not to ignore what's going on. We MUST be willing to go through it. The only way out is through. You're stronger than you think and braver than you'll ever know.

Take the risk. Get honest. Become humble. Practice loving-compassion and empathy. This is your life. You're the one who is writing the story. Be willing to see those that trigger you as children acting out. We are all children of the Universe and many of those out in the world are reacting from their pain bodies. Allow yourself to recognize yourself as the other person. Shower them with your love. Shower yourself with the love you've been craving. This is the chance for us to choose love above all, atone our mistakes, and get honest with ourselves. Enough of the suffering + pain, darling. It's a beautiful world out there and it's waiting for you to show up!
